This is from a photograph that I took in a cafe patio in New Orleans. The mould and pizza stains on the brick patio and the shadows of the patio chair and table seems to make a beautiful design and a very nice composition. I could not pass this by. Once again, lights and shadows always seem to challenge me. This painting won the Best of Show in one of the local art competitions.
